07.04.08Abdirahman and Rupp go 1-2 in men’s 10,000Abdi Abdirahman reclaimed the lead from Galen Rupp entering the final lap and held off the University of Oregon runner to win the men’s 10,000 meters in 27 minutes, 41.89 seconds. Rupp, who redshirted this season with the Ducks, finished in 27:43.11. After hanging with the leaders throughout the race, Rupp moved into first with two laps to go but surrendered the lead a lap later. Jorge Torres took third in 27:46.33. Source
