Friends reportedly recorded talks with ex-cop after disappearance of Stacy Peterson
A Bolingbrook couple who said in a published report that they had secretly recorded for police their conversations with Drew Peterson made up the story after a falling-out with Peterson over money, his attorney said Wednesday morning.
"No way this happened," attorney Joel Brodsky said in an interview with WGN-Ch. 9, referring to the reported wires worn by Len Wawczak and Paula Stark, who have been friends of Peterson's for years.
