Lexmark X5470 All in one printer
This printer is all they say it is. Easy program download, I was up and running in a hour and a half! Great printing, easy faxing. Copies are superb, and all my pictures look great! Very easy to use and I'm not tech savy. I would recomend this printer to anyone. Very great price too!

Nice Doorstop
This is a fine example of technology that never should have been introduced to the marketplace.
My wife bought this for me at Valentine's day, and here it is not even Mother's Day, and the machine does everything but print. Which for a printer is a problem.
Tech Support tells me the printer is the issue. No kidding!
Save your money and buy something else.

Troublesome and poor quality prints
On the surface, The Lexmark X5470 looks like a great deal; it is a copier, printer, scanner and fax too. It also has an automatic document feeder and can print pictures directly from the memory card thru the built in PicBridge port and media card slot, however, you need a special photo color cartridge in place of the black ink cartridge. You can copy / scan /fax using the flat bed or the document feeder. All that at around . But the good stuff ends there.
Print quality is poor, picture quality is even worse; and it uses ink like there is no tomorrow, expect around 150 pages before the Lexmark starts telling you to order new ink cartridge. If you want to get a generic or refilled ink cartridge, the Lexmark does not like that, and it will keep telling you that it's out of original ink. You may even get an error message to change the cartridge and the machine will stop working until you do so. In short, you will have to use the original Lexmark ink cartridges at around for the pair.
The most annoying thing is the "clear carrier jam" message, which keeps coming even though there is no "jam" anywhere in the machine. To clear it, you will have to turn it off, unplug it, remove both ink cartridges, plug it again, turn it on, reinstall the cartridges, and keep your fingers crossed that this will clear it. If not, try again.
Will I buy it again? Never. Would I recommend it? No way.
Lexmark: I hope you do better next time.

This Printer is a stinker!!!!!
I purchased this printer about 4 months ago. First the document feeder stopped working. Then it wouldn't scan the documents so that you could manipulate them. Then about a month ago it wouldn't pull the paper into the printer to print on it. This printer is such poor quality & it really stinks to spend this amount of money & have it basically be a piece of junk in 4 months to the point it doesn't even work hardly at all any more!

Great all in one
I bought the Lexmark all in one to replace my HP 2200. So far I am quite impressed. It is easy to use, has great quality printing and the price is great!
I highly recommend this all in one!
