Former ‘Cheers’ star Kelsey Grammer nearly died last month when suffered a heart attack. The actor revealed this news to ‘Entertainment Tonight’ who aired the interview earlier today. Grammer, who had a history of substance abuse in the past, said his heart stopped while emergency crews were working on him.
The 53 actor said about being revived was:
“like somebody was actually trying to tear my chest apart with, like, the jaws of life.”
Grammer is currently promoting the movie “Swing Vote” which opens August 1. Here is the preview of the film:
