Now, she has promised to lead in-line skaters at the Ashland July 4th parade “wearing only a hemp G-string and blowing a conch shell.”
The Chamber of Commerce says that’s contrary to the rules for the family celebration.
Parade Chairman James Kidd says they don’t believe that someone in the parade who is topless or nearly naked is appropriate for a family audience.
Kidd did say that parade rules clearly indicate that entries must be appropriate for a family audience.
But City Council member Eric Navickas says he’s on Moss’ side. He says if our society is willing to tolerate dead bodies through “aggressive foreign policy from the war, but not healthy, naked bodies,” there is something wrong.
